Hey Ladies, sorry I haven’t been posting that much this past week, it’s been crazy at my house!!! I haven’t forgotten about you and I’m here to help you become the organic natural beauty expert that you are. Today I’d like to talk about asking for samples and doing patch testing before you buy a product or products. It is important to see how it will work for you and if you like it before dishing out your hard earned cash. So here we go, do not be shy about asking for samples. There may be some stores that do not carry samples of shampoo, toners, and even cleanser and other products too. They may even charge you for a travel size version of a product. Why? Because some of the stores have to buy the samples from the manufacturer so they charge us. I know it’s crazy. I think it’s better spending a couple, few dollars than buying and returning a product. You can also call the manufacturer and see if they will send you samples of what you want. I’ve done this and they were happy to send me all types of products in sample size, of course.
Let’s say we have our samples and we shall do a patch test to see if this particular product will work for our skin or not. If we get an allergic reaction we know it’s not going to work for us. It’s time to find a different product. Another way to test a product is to use your nose, yes smell can mean if it’s bad or not. If it’s too fragrant and you’re not into scent then its not for you. If it causes you to sneeze then it may cause other reactions and that’s not good. You may want to return any items that cause problems for you and get your money back. Don’t be scared or lazy if a product is harming you, return it. If the store refuses your return, get the manufacturers info and send it back to them and they will send you a check and their apologies. And if a store will not take your return see if you can get an exchange for something else. Many well known stores will accept returns and will try to make you happy and want you to continue shopping with them. Same goes for online stores. They all want your business. Hope this bit of information helps!!!
Remember to read your labels. Organic natural skin care products are best!!!
